Diabetes is on the rise occurring in 10% of the Canadian population. 

Definition

Diabetes is when the body does not produce enough or respond normally to insulin. This causes blood sugar levels to be high. Chronically elevated blood sugar levels damage blood vessels and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, vision loss and kidney damage.

Lab Testing
