Consultations

Initial Visit (60 minutes) – During your first visit, we will discuss your main health concerns, gather a comprehensive health history, perform any relevant physical exams, and review current work. We will then come up with a treatment plan together that best suites your needs and health goals.

Follow Up Visits (30 – 45 minutes) – After your initial appointment, follow up visits are scheduled to track the progress of your treatment plan, make any changes necessary, and review the results of any requested lab work.

Free Meet & Greet (15 minutes) – A no obligation appointment for you to ask questions about naturopathic medicine and to see if we are a good fit to work together.

Some consultations can be done virtually if you are not able to come into the clinic. Let me know and I can change your appointment to virtual!

Lab Testing

Lab testing can be useful to confirm certain medical conditions. It is also used to monitor disease regression and guide treatment protocols. Standard blood tests and specialized tests (i.e. breath, stool, urine) will be incorporated in a diagnostic workup when indicated.

Lifestyle Assessment

Nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress management are assessed as they play a major role in health and disease. Lifestyle recommendations will be made to support you and your goals.

IV Drip Therapy

Intravenous (IV) therapy is a fast and easy way to increase the concentration of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids in the blood stream. A customized solution is injected into a vein in order to bypass intestinal absorption and processing by the liver. By doing this, we can ensure that 100% of these nutrients are getting utilized in the body when needed.

Injection Therapy

Intramuscular (IM) injections are an alternative way to increase the concentration of nutrients in the body. IM injections deliver nutrients into the body by injecting them into the muscle. Common injections include B12 and B complex to help improve energy, increase metabolism, and support overall health and wellbeing.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture can be used as part of a treatment protocol to support muscle tension (commonly referred to as IMS) or to address imbalances with the body’s flow of Qi (energy) and blood through Chinese medicine style acupuncture. While acupuncture is the main method of treatment, cupping, moxibustion, and electrical stimulation may be added to an acupuncture appointment to facilitate healing.

Herbal Medicine

The practice of using herbal supplements dates back thousands of years. This practice uses plants as medicine. This is where some pharmaceutical drugs were derived from! Herbs can be used in a treatment plan in the form of tea, tincture, capsule, or topical application. Specific herbs are incorporated into a treatment plan to support and rebalance the body. They can also be used for symptom management while we address the root cause of your concerns.

Physical Medicine

Pain or muscle tension in acute or chronic injuries can be addressed with physical medicine. Functional tests and orthopedic assessments can identify where the pain is stemming from. Acupuncture, hydrotherapy, manipulations, as well as lifestyle modifications can be used to help optimize one’s physical health.

Naturopathic services are covered by some extended medical benefits and health spending accounts. Your provider will be able to tell you what is covered under your plan.

Questions about existing treatment plans by phone or email are free of charge. Please book a consultation if there are any new questions or concerns.

Cancellation Policy: 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations. If a visit is cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the visit.
